Seeing a need for assistance in the area of farm animal rescue, we formed Hark's Ark, a non-profit foundation, to provide a life-long service to our four-legged friends. The animals shown on this website were rescued from certain death and shipped to us from various auction houses. Many came as young animals with no recorded history. W
Seeing a need for assistance in the area of farm animal rescue, we formed Hark's Ark, a non-profit foundation, to provide a life-long service to our four-legged friends. The animals shown on this website were rescued from certain death and shipped to us from various auction houses. Many came as young animals with no recorded history. We do not re-home these animals, they become life-long residents. We need to know they never end up in the same situation from which we rescued them.

We feel privileged that we are able to live our dream providing animals with the option of life over death, here at Hark's Ark in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula. Try as we do, we can't do it alone. It takes a lot of hard work and money for hay, feed, and vet expenses. This is our life-long full- time commitment. Won't you please help?
